Our client is a fast growing company active in the automobile sector.
As Business Controller you will be responsible for:
- Makes the budgets and updates them periodically;
- Analyses the results versus the budgets and formulates recommendations to improve the results;
- Ensures follow-up on the commissions to be paid;
- Makes operational reports for the different dealers;
- Is responsible for the development, improvement, implementation and follow-up of internal control procedures, in collaboration with Accounting;
- Coordinates and verifies the monthly stock;
- Ensures follow-up on investment projects;
- Gives ad hoc advice to the employees of the dealers;
- Reports to the Controlling Manager;
- Ad-hoc reporting on retail performance to Senior Management, to improve transparency and facilitate decision-making process.
The required profile for the Business Controller position:
- A master degree in Finance and at least 3 years of experience in a commercial setting;
- Fluent in French and in English, Dutch is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of controlling procedures and reporting;
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel;
- Good communication skills;
- Capacity to synthetize complex ideas;
- Strong focus on transparency;
- Knowledge of automotive or FMCG revenue drivers;
- Understanding of key components of revenues;
- Controlling procedures and reporting;
- Business mind set, solution-oriented;
- Flexible, stress resistant, respects deadlines;
- Accurate, analytical.
