In support of the Government’s Job Creation Scheme under the Anti-epidemic Fund 2.0, The Education University of Hong Kong has
recently created over 40 positions covering a wide range of job functions and levels. This is in response to the difficult labour market
situation in the wake of the pandemic, with an aim of providing employment opportunities for those with different skill sets,
qualifications and years of experience. Applications are invited for the captioned position.
The Department aspires to be a leader in the Asia-Pacific region of Psychology in education and related fields, and be at the cutting
edge of scientific research, development, and teaching in Psychology.
We are now looking for applicants who will teach psychology, education-related, and general education courses in under graduate
programmes. They are also expected to supervise students in their teaching and/or other training practicum. The appointment will be
up to a period of 12 months.
Applicants should have a Master’s degree, preferably a Doctoral Degree, with some relevant post-qualification teaching experience in
relevant discipline and provide proven evidence of qualify teaching and/or successful record of professional experience at tertiary level.
Applicants should preferably possess a relevant professional teaching certificate, e.g. PGDE or qualification of Qualified Teacher Status
recognized by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong or other qualification of equivalence.
