THE OPPORTUNITY

We are actively seeking a highly personable and technically astute Finance Accounting Specialist. The ideal person for this role will have experience supporting accounts and payments within NATO, the MoD, civil service, the wider armed forces or a defence organisation. You will be responsible for various tasks related to technical support. This work is located in Brussels, Belgium and will suit those either already living there or willing to work within that location unencumbered. Sound like a great fit?

THE ROLE

Your daily role responsibilities will be as follows:

• You will look after booking of all payments
• Clear the suspense bank accounts
• Clearing all the accounts receivables accounts
• Set up the cash planning on a weekly basis for the whole agency
• Prepare all payment batches which need to paid
• Put in the foreign exchanges into the EBA system
• Book the bank costs
• Build reconciliations on a monthly basis between the system and the bank statement
• Preparing the payroll batches to be paid
• Send all different batches to the ISABLE system
• POC with the bank and the business for payments are receiving'

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or equivalent work experience in related field Management or related field from an accredited college.
• Knowledge of accountancy and taxes
• Experiences in finance, knowledge of Oracle is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret Security Clearance
