• Reporting to the Project Inspection Manager.
• Attend, in cooperation with the EPCm contractor, all necessary COMPANY inspections, as identified in the approved Inspection & Testplan (ITP), in sub-contractors and/or Vendor’s prefab shops to ensure that the production complies with the project requirements(non exhaustive list):
• Review documentation (ITP, material certificates, WPS, PQR, WPQ, MDB,…)
• Oversee inspection of rotating equipment activities;
• Witness Final Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT);
• …..

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Petrochemical plants

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the design of rotating equipment according API-standards (610, 613, 617, 618, 619,…)
• Good knowledge of PED 2014/68/EU
• Good knowledge of Machine Directive 2006/42/EC
• Good knowledge of mechanical vibration, vibration measurement,…
• Knowledge of ATEX 2014/34/EU
• Knowledge of IEC 60204-1 (Safety of machinery)
• Knowledge of AREI
• Be able to read, understand and review engineering drawings & specifications (P&ID, PFD’s, datasheets, construction drawings, material specifications, ….)
• Must be able to assess whether the engineering drawings are in accordance with the material requirements, the engineering specifications, the design code and PED-, MD-, ATEX-, IEC-requirements.
• Be able to understand and review ITP’s (Inspection & Test Plan), material certificates (base & filler materials), welding procedure specifications (WPS + PQR), welder qualifications
• High degree of computer literacy : SharePoint, SmartPlant, Documentum, Microsoft office , Visio,…
• Willing to travel abroad to perform inspections in subcontractor’s/Vendor’s workshop
• Strong organizational and planning skills and can structure work well, also on an administrative level
• Sufficiently mature and assertive to communicate with enough impact with all parties and levels. You work in a constructive way with the responsible staff of the EPCm contractor.
• You comply at all times with all project HSE requirements and act as an ambassador when it comes to HSE
• You speak and write fluent English (official language in the project team)
• Sound knowledge of dangerous conditions on plants
• Working experience in multicultural environment
• Proven ability to work as an effective team player
• High ethical standards
